13th Annual Now ~Lap The Lake~ 5k Walk & Run
About the Event
We are thrilled to share that our 13th annual ~Lap the Lake~ Road Race & Walk has been scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2025! ~Lap the Lake~ is a major fundraising event which helps fund all of the free youth health & wellness programming that NOW is able to offer the community.
We invite you to “Lap the Lake” with a scenic 5K run & walk along private roads surrounding pristine Alexander’s Lake in Dayville, CT. This family-friendly event also invites kids to participate in our annual Kids Fun Run. The 5K race starts and finishes at The Lake Tavern in Dayville! Live broadcast with WINY Radio and professional photography.
We will have a fun filled race festival following the 5k to celebrate the accomplishment!
Proceeds from this event allow NOW to provide youth social, emotional, and physical wellness opportunities such as sports, nutrition and fitness education to the families in the Quiet Corner of CT. We are incredibly thankful for the support that we have received from the community, our sponsors, and our donors!

8:00 a.m. - Race Day Registration, Race Day Check-In, Bag & Bib Pick-Up. 9:00 a.m. - Kids Fun Run begins At The Old Lake Tavern. 9:30 a.m. - 5K Run & Walk begins At The Old Lake Tavern. Runners will enjoy a scenic lap around Alexanders Lake. 10:30 a.m - Awards Presentation, Music, Food, Drinks, Live Raffles, Family Fun Activities
13th Annual NOW ~Lap The Lake ~ 1/2 MILE KIDS FUN RUN (Ages 10 and under)
Kids Fun Run - Our Kids Fun Run will be back to its normal "out and back" course on Upper Maple Street! THIS EVENT IS FOR AGES 10 AND UNDER.
