14th Annual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth - Miami, Florida

Join the Human Growth Foundation (HGF) in collaboration with Nicklaus Children's Hospital for a powerful day of community, celebration, and purpose. This is more than a race — it’s a movement that brings hope to children and families affected by rare growth disorders.

The 14th Annual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth unites families, athletes, healthcare professionals, local businesses, and supporters from across the region to raise awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.

All ages, all abilities, and all walks of life are encouraged to join us.

Each registered participant receives a Finisher Medal, event t‑shirt, food, and refreshments.

Every step you take helps children with rare growth disorders access the medical care, diagnostic testing, and treatment support they urgently need. Funds raised through this event help underserved families connect with specialists, receive educational resources, and find a community that understands their journey.

By showing up, you are helping children reach their full potential — physically, emotionally, and socially.

Bring your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors — this is a community celebration filled with energy, inspiration, and fun for everyone. Enjoy live entertainment, interactive sponsor booths, giveaways, raffles, and activities for kids. Whether you're running, walking, cheering, or volunteering, you’ll be part of something meaningful.

Pre‑race warm‑up led by fitness instructors

5K Run/Walk begins

Awards ceremony follows after all participants return.

Live entertainment, food, refreshments, raffles, and community booths available throughout the event.

10:30 am

Event concludes

The event will be conventionally timed, and the course is fully paved and accessible.

South Florida temperatures can be high. Please hydrate well before, during, and after the race. Watch for heat‑related symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, cramps, or confusion. Seek immediate assistance if needed.

Race Management may postpone or cancel the event due to weather, natural disasters, or emergencies. No refunds will be issued. Course adjustments may be made for participant safety.

Professional photographers and videographers will be on site capturing the excitement of the day.

Photo & Video Disclaimer: By attending the 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth, you acknowledge and agree that photographs and video may be taken during the event. These images may be used by the Human Growth Foundation for promotional, educational, and fundraising purposes in print, digital, and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify an event staff member upon arrival.

Awards will be given to the fastest male and female in the following categories:

10 & under, 11–17, 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–55, 56 & over

To raise awareness of childhood growth disorders and support early diagnosis and treatment. Funds raised help underserved children access medical care, diagnostic testing, and vital support services.

WHAT TIME IS THE WALK?

The site opens at 7:00 am. The route begins at 8:15 am. Arrive early to check in, explore sponsor booths, and enjoy pre‑race activities.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Parking is free at Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155). The event is located in the South endzone of the stadium.

HOW LONG IS THE ROUTE?

The route is 3 miles long and wheelchair/stroller accessible.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Water, hydration drinks, and light snacks will be provided.

FIRST‑TIME WALKER?

Stop by the Registration Tent for your bib and t‑shirt. You may run or walk — go at your own pace!

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Yes! Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
