About this race

Please join us this year for our 14th annual running of the Race for Case. Race for Case is a community-oriented event benefiting all students of Case CLC. Profits from the event have helped us build our permanent greenhouse on school grounds and fund a set of digital microscopes, a VR system, and school events. Help us continue our tradition of successfully funding projects that provide our students with equipment and opportunities many APS students miss out on. The Race for Case is just one of the Neighborhood races in the Akron Promise City Series, held to support community organizations, promote youth opportunity, explore Akron, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Join fellow runners on April 1, 2021 for the 14th Annual Race for Case. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Akron.

Ages 12 & Over - 5K Virtual Run, Walk, Hike, or Bike

Our annual Race for Case 5K event will be a virtual challenge this year. We know that many are returning to in-person events but we also know that some may not be comfortable yet with meeting in large groups. We thought it was best to continue with the virtual environment and return to in-person racing for our 10th annual event next spring. As always, our event benefits all students at Case CLC to enhance their education through the financial support of unique and creative teacher initiatives. In the past, this has meant additional funding for inquiry-based learning activities, maker space studio supplies, an on-site greenhouse, and off-site experiences.
