About this race
The 18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run & Splash Dash will take place on July 18, 2026 at 200 South Patterson St. Valdosta, GA 31601.
All proceeds and donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, and all funds raised and matched will benefit Sandy's House, a local organization that holds a 12 month residential faith based program. They are located in Valdosta, Georgia, and the program is set up for women ages 18 and older who are suffering from addiction. They opened their doors on March 21, 2022 and have served women broken from alcohol and drug addiction by providing housing, education, and spiritual training to enable women to rediscover who they are in Christ.
Since 2009, Barnes Drug Store has raised and donated over $1 Million for our community through our annual 5k event. Thanks to the support of our community partners, we raised over $600,000 in 2025 for Evans Memorial Camp.
Every year, this event and donations are made possible by the incredible companies, organizations, and individuals in our community who provide valuable support to our mission. We hope you will join us in our efforts to raise and donate $100,000.00 for Sandy's House in 2026.
Register for $30 before June 30th to get a t-shirt. All registrations after June 30th (including day of registrations) will not include a t-shirt.

Barnes Drug Store 100 Year 13th Annual 5K (Virtual)
Now participate in the annual Barnes Drug Store 5K from anywhere! The Virtual Event will be available from 5:00am EST July 2nd 2021 through 4pm July 9th 2021. Participants must register at RunSign up for the virtual race by July 9th at 3pm, then after timing their run must return to RunSignup to enter their results on the RunSignup website BEFORE the event ends on July 9th at 4pm EST. Results may be entered up to 1 minute before the deadline on July 9th at 4pm. (Example - if you register at 3:50pm EST on July 9th, you will not have time to run a 5K and get your results on the website before the event has ended). GPS tracking is not required for this run. Please note a 5k is 3.10 miles or 5000 meters. Times under 16 minutes for men and 17 minutes for women will not be accepted. The virtual run is a separate event from the live race on July 10th; therefore top runners for each age group will be recognized separately on Barnes Drug Store Facebook page from the onsite top runners. Results will be posted on the Barnes Drug Store Facebook page for both the virtual and in-person run in the afternoon on July 10th.
