About this race

Join United Way of the Coastal Empire on Thanksgiving morning at Daffin Park for its 18th Annual Turkey Trot! Come as you are or in a Thanksgiving themed costume and hit the 4-mile course.  The race route starts at Daffin Park, loops through the picturesque Ardsley Park neighborhood, and ends back at Daffin Park.  Participants are invited to an awards ceremony and delicious food and beverages. No rollerblades, roller skates, or bicycles, please.  Pets are permitted only with participants and on a leash. Strollers are welcome! We are rain or shine, so dress accordingly.

8:00 am Kids K (0.62 miles, ages 10 and under) (kids k race bibs will be available at packet pick-up *complimentary, included participation ribbon) 8:15 am Diaper Dash (35 yards/0.02 mile, ages 3 and under, *complimentary) 8:30 am 4M Run/Walk (children 4 and up will need a registered bib)

PACKET PICKUP: 10 AM - 6 PM, Fleet Feet Sports, 3405 Waters Ave., Savannah  Tuesday, November 24, 2026 & Wednesday, November 25, 2026

(Race will begin promptly at 8:30 AM on Thursday, November 26, so please make plans to pick up your bib at Fleet Feet on Tuesday, November 24 or Wednesday, November 25, to ensure you have what you need before the race begins!)

Make sure to sign up for the specialty awards at packet pick-up! Awards will be presented immediately following tabulations at Daffin Park

 

REGISTRATIONS:

Registration will CLOSE on Wednesday, November 25 at 6:00 PM EST UNLESS SOLD OUT BEFORE THEN. 

There will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. If you would like to participate in the race, please make sure to sign-up in advance.

  • Come early to packet pick-up Tuesday or Wednesday to ensure your shirt size availability! Shirt size is not guaranteed.
  • Please know - Only registered participants will be allowed on the race course

PACKET PICK-UP •Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Fleet Feet Sports, 3405 Waters Ave., Savannah, GA 31404, 10 am – 4 pm •Race Day at Daffin Park AWARDS FOR RUNNERS •Top 3 overall male and female •Top 3 male and female in each age group •Largest family, runner from farthest away, most senior, most junior, best costume Awards will be presented immediately following tabulations at Daffin Park. Winners must be present to receive awards. T-SHIRTS – A technical race shirt is included with registration for the 4 mile run/walk. NO t-shirt size swaps at packet pick-up. PARKING – Parking is located throughout Daffin Park and around Grayson Stadium. Please do not block driveways. No rollerblades. Pets and strollers are permitted only with runners or walkers.
