Superhero 5K & One Mile Fun Run

Saturday, April 24, 2027 1M - 7:30 AM; 5K - 8:00 AM The Annual Superhero Run is a fun, family-friendly 5K run/walk that brings our community together to support local foster children in need. Hosted by Friends of Children of Brevard, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, this event raises vital funds to help abused, abandoned, and neglected children right here in Brevard County. Every step you take makes a difference in a child’s life.   Timetable: Friday, April 23rd
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM: Packet Pickup & Registration at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne)   Saturday, April 24th – The Avenue 6:30 AM: Packet Pickup & Late Registration 7:20 AM: Late Registration Ends for 1 Mile 7:30 AM: 1 Mile Run/Walk START! 7:50 AM: Late Registration Ends for 5K 8:00 AM: 5K START! 9:15 AM: Kids Run & Mascot Run!! **Immediately following the 5K:

• Mascot Race- Cheer on your favorite mascot!
• FREE kids run for the little ones

  5K Individual Awards:   Top 3 Overall Male & Female Top Masters (40+) Male & Female Top 3 Male & Female in each Age Group: 8 & Under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+   5K Team Awards Only:     Top 3 Fastest Teams (Teams of 4 - must be co-ed) Top school with the Most Participation, Best Costume (Male, Female, and Child), and Fastest Mascot (Mascot Race)   1 Mile Individual Awards Only: Top 3 Overall Male & Female Top Masters (40+) Male & Female Top 3 Male & Female in each Age Group: 8 & Under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

(Register by 3/31 to guarantee your shirt size.)

Superhero Challenge includes 1 shirt, 1-mile finisher medal, and 5K challenge medal.

Join fellow runners on February 4, 2017 for the Superhero 5K. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.6K, 6.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Melbourne.
