About this race
A Ladera Ranch tradition - The Freedom Run on the Ranch is happy to invite you to run in the kids Firecracker 1k or our 5k and 10k runs. The event provides our community the ability to support local charities through the race registration proceeds and sponsorship opportunities. We encourage all to enjoy this great opportunity to celebrate our national holiday and have a little fun while running the streets of your community. We will have several festivities to support the runners and non-participants at the event with a breakfast and sponsor vendor area during the morning event. Please help us celebrate the 4th of July festivities and raise awareness and much needed support to the charities. Remember price increases on June 22nd. Also help support our charities by purchasing breakfast from participating local restaurants. All proceeds benefit the charities.

Freedom Run/Walk 100k- Covid Edition Virtual Challenge
100k Challenge Run/walk - Something new for the community during Covid 19 pandemic - 31 days of running or walking to accomplish 100k challenge. You can run or walk any course, log your miles and time challenge yourself and your friends and have fun while celebrating our country's birthday month. Happy 4th of July, Stay safe. Also remember this event supports local charities.
Freedom Run Kids 1k - Founder Park Loop - Covid Edition Race
Fun Run/Race for the kids around Founder's Park - Run will be on the sidewalk, obey all traffic laws that may apply, run at your own risk and practice social distancing. This race can be run anytime on the 4th or 5th of July make sure to be mindful of others on the sidewalk while you are running this event - Happy 4th of July.
Freedom Run 5k - Covid Edition Race
5k Race - Run will be on the original course that is slightly modified, the course will be modified to run on the sidewalks and trails and follow the normal course. Remember all traffic laws are in effect and do not run into the streets without making sure it is safe, your are responsible for your own actions, so please be careful. You are running at your own risk and practice social distancing. Since this is a virtual race that can be done at anytime during the 2 day period make sure to be mindful of others in the area. Stay safe at all times and Happy 4th of July.
