About this race
Join us on October 24th as we return for our 24th year of the Annual Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk. For those who cannot make the in-person event, we will have a virtual option as well.

Virtual 19th Annual Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk
This option for the event may be completed from any location. Participants may run/walk/jog, on a road, trail, treadmill, track (or even at another race). Individuals get to run their own race, at their own pace, and time it themselves. Times will then be submitted onto our online platform. Individuals will not be eligible for age/gender awards. All proceeds will benefit the worthy cause of RMH Foundation for Breast Care and Treatment at the Sentara RMH Medical Center. Register by October 1st to guarantee and event t-shirt. Golf Tournament
This golf tournament will take place following the run/walk at Heritage Oaks Golf Course. Captains will register their team, and will be contacted at a later date for tournament specific information including additional player names, lunch preferences, and t-shirt sizes. This will be an additional fundraiser for the RMH Foundation for Breast Care and Treatment at the Sentara RMH Medical Center.
