31st Annual Nate Race 5k & 12k
About this race
The Nate the Great Race is held in conjunction with the Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend. Proceeds from the race started out building the “dream” of a state of the art track facility, when that was accomplished, the race continued on for numerous other community efforts. The race currently supports; scholarships, summer conditioning programs, youth track meets, health & fitness classes, office of the aging, and numerous other community based programs. Additionally you can find the Canastota Running Club baskets at fundraisers whenever there is a time of need.

New this year! Course will be certified as 12k (7.45 miles). For the safety of all participants, runners must maintain a 12 min./mile pace. There will be a pace checkpoint at the mile 5 mark coming of the towpath.
