35th Annual Anchorage Salmon Run - May 2,
About this race
Join us for a family fun run from Inlet View Elementary out along the Coastal Trail. This race has one downhill at the beginning along N Street and is flat after that! Set an early season PR or trot with along with the whole family. The Salmon Run is a great spring race to kick off your running season.
Inlet View Elementary is located in downtown Anchorage, and is one of the oldest, traditional neighborhood elementary schools in our town. Today, with money raised through events like the Salmon Run, we are able to provide reading tutoring, supplemental math programs, after-school Spanish classes, writing workshops, art, music and physical education assemblies as well as busses for field trips, scholarships, financial assistance for meals, and classroom support.

Tuesday, April 28 - Inlet View Elementary MPR - 2:30-5:30pm
Thursday, April 30 - Skinny Raven Downtown - 4:30-6:30pm
Saturday, May 2 - Day of Race - Inlet View Elementary MPR - 8:30-9:30am
PARKING: The Anchorage Lutheran Church has generously opened their parking lot to us. The easiest way to access this lot is to take West 15th Avenue to O street and drive through the back alley (N. street will be closed for the race) From the church parking lot you can walk to the school less than a block away. Thanks to the Anchorage Lutheran Church for supporting our school and this community wide event.

10K
The 10K starts at Inlet View, heads down N street and veers right onto Virginia Court before joining the Chester Creek Trail toward Westchester lagoon. Head south on the on the very flat Coastal Trail the entire way and turn around just before Earthquake Park, a volunteer will be at the turnaround. Enjoy a car free run with aid stations along the way.
5K
The 5K starts at Inlet View and heads down N street and veers right onto Virginia Court before joining the Chester Creek Trail toward Westchester lagoon. Head south on the very flat Coastal Trail the entire way and turn around just before Lyn Ary Park, a volunteer will be at the turnaround. Enjoy a car free run with aid stations along the way.
2K Fun Run
The 2K starts at Inlet View and heads down N street and veers right onto Virginia Court. Volunteers will be on hand to point you through the park near the Westchester Boat Ramp then back up N. street to the school.
