52nd Summer XC Series

 Registration  for Week #2 will open on Tuesday July 8.**** 

Since 1974, Shawangunk Runners has hosting a summer XC series to showcase some of the great running opportunities on and around the Shawangunk Ridge. This year's 52nd series features four spectacularly scenic courses—ranging from 3 miles to 4.7 miles—on the carriage roads of Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park. The summer series is limited to 250 registrants, so don’t delay!

Bib pickup each week starts at 6 p.m. Informal children's half-mile and one-mile runs kick off at 6:45, with the adult race immediately following at approximately 7 p.m. Here's the schedule:

• Monday, July 7: “Undercliff/Overcliff”: 4.7 miles, West Trapps Entry, Mohonk Preserve
• Monday, July 14: “Patterson’s Pellet”: 3 miles, Lake Minnewaska, Minnewaska State Park Preserve ($10 per car parking fee)
• Monday, July 21: “Blueberry Run”: 4 miles, Lake Minnewaska, Minnewaska State Park Preserve ($10 per car parking fee)
• Monday, July 28: “Lou’s Run”: 4.3 miles, Spring Farm Trailhead, Mohonk Preserve
• Monday, Aug. 4: Award Ceremony/Rail Trail Fun Run: Garvan’s Gastropub, New Paltz

REGISTRATION DETAILS
This storied series is one of the best bargains in running, too. Individuals can sign up for the whole series for just $25 and a family (up to four) is just $40. As part of our efforts to encourage youth running, students age 22 who register as individuals are eligible for a $15 rebate.  And better still, Shawangunk Runners club members can sign up for FREE! 

FAMILIES AND STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE: To earn the family discount, add members of your immediate family as additional registrants and the system will automatically apply the discount. Runners age 22 or under who are registering as an individual can click here to claim their $15 rebate.
