Are you ready for the most exhilarating, heart-pounding, and adrenaline-fueled event of the year? Brace yourself for "Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, an unforgettable experience that combines running, survival skills, and a dash of fear to support a great cause!
The Mission:
The world is on the brink of chaos, and the only hope lies within the Red Cross headquarters. Embark on a daring journey through a park infested with zombies. Your goal: reach the outpost, secure the code from the survivor, and make it back to headquarters before it's too late!
The Challenge:
As you navigate through the treacherous terrain, zombies will be hot on your heels, trying to tag the back of your shirt with fake blood. Your survival instincts will be put to the test as you dodge, and duck your way through this relentless horde. Will you emerge unscathed and save humanity, or become a zombie's next meal?
Non-Profit:
Martial Hearts is dedicated to providing financial assistance for youth to learn martial arts. We help youth pay for tuition and fees associated with martial arts, attend seminars and provide free self-defense training for women—all thanks to donations and events like these.
Partnering Wesselman Woods.
Partial proceeds will go toward Wesselman Woods and Martial Hearts.

Participants should wear clothing they intend to get messy. Race Shirts will be grey and available to those who register by the deadline.

Pick your distance
Running
Evansville Zombie 5K Survival Run 2023 (4pm)
Race around Zombies to get to the cure and take it back to base. Receive a free t-shirt if you purchase your ticket 2 weeks before the race. Zombies will be trying to tag runners with Blood. Try and stay as "uninjured" as you can. Disclaimer: Wear something you are okay with getting messy. The run will take you around concrete, woods, fences, and more. Parents must accompany their child during the run/walk. Zombies will just be present to scare them.
Volunteer as a Zombie (3pm)
Participate as a Zombie for the run. Bring your own Zombie attire Contact the race director if interested in getting face painting done at the event. Blood splatter wall provided for extra effect. Must be 16+
