Fuel the Mission, One Step at a Time. Join the 5th Annual Nobody Walks Alone 5K on September 13, 2026! The COMMIT Foundation is hosting this family-friendly event at Mt. Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach, VA, and in other cities nationwide. This 5K aims to raise vital funds for COMMIT to continue to empower individuals with purpose, identity, and connection.
Come join the fun while sharing a commitment to this important cause. Participants worldwide can also join through their local COMMunITies.

Virginia Beach 4th Annual Nobody Walks Alone 5K
5.1 kilometers (approx 3.1 miles) Spartan DEKA elements optional: - Rams for the lunges and the Burpee’s for males and females - Dyna balls for overhead sit-ups. - 24 inch foam plyo boxes and assault bikes. - Kettle bells that are 44 and 35lbs - for the farmers carries weight. PATH water provided. Dogs are permitted at Mt. Trashmore if leashed at all times Dogs are allowed to walk on the trails, but not in the recreation building.

This is an unstructured MeetUp with local area fellows. The plan is to meet at the log cabins near the Valley Forge National Historical Park visitor center.
Charlotte, NC Nobody Walks Alone 5K
This is an unstructured MeetUp with local area staff and fellows. The will meet at McAlpine Creek Park – Official 5K Cross-Country Course.
Washington, D.C. Nobody Walks Alone 5K
This is an unstructured MeetUp with local area fellows. The route will start at the Ulysses S. Grant at the Capitol Reflecting Pool and will proceed around the reflecting pool, down in the inside of the National Mall, around the Washington monument, and then reverse for a modified "out and back" route.
Chicago Nobody Walks Alone 5K
This is an unstructured MeetUp with local area fellows. The plan is to meet at 1000CT, at Queen's Landing (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FnHT4NMA2LUdjrQt8) Run start: at 1030CT, along the Lakeside Trail (route here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dBDGL3synDKLBwdw5) Finish: Shore Club Chicago (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tkiEdhJ9yd8XVvR38) Snacks: After the run at Shore Club Chicago!
