8th Annual Paddle Run/Walk 4 CureHHT @ Captain Jim’s
About this race
Our goal is to raise money to find a cure for HHT (Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia), also known as Osler-Weber-Rendu Syndrome, HHT is an inherited disease that leads to malformed blood vessels in multiple organs of the body and typically begins with nosebleeds during childhood. HHT can result in serious health problems if not promptly diagnosed and treated. Our mission is to find a cure for HHT while saving the lives and improving the well-being of individuals and families affected by HHT.
Followed by announcements/welcoming, we start off with a picturesque kayak/SUP tour circling the main island of Gibraltar for a 2.8k (roughly 30 minutes) paddle throughout the Lake Erie waterfront and canal-front residential areas prior to the 5k run/walk.
