Join Us for the 1st Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Austin, TX | Saturday, September 26, 2026 | Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul
Take a step toward helping neighbors in need by joining our 1-mile walk—or go the extra mile by walking more laps to show your support! All proceeds benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which provides emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, and other critical needs to those facing unexpected hardships, illness, or job loss.

Event Schedule:
- Check-in: 8:30 AM at Holtman Hall
- Walk begins: 9:00 AM
- Breakfast begins: 9:30 AM
- SVdP Presentation: 9:45 AM
- Door Prizes: 10:00 AM (must be present to win)

Route Details: The walk will be a 1-mile loop around the beautiful St. Thomas More Catholic Church campus, starting from Holtman Hall. After completing the walk, we’ll return to Holtman hall to 🕘 Enjoy breakfast, ☕ fellowship and 🎁 door prize drawings for all attendees.
