About the Event
Run or Walk The Chocolate Challenge
If you like a refreshing morning run followed by delicious chocolate treats, then this event is for you. The Chocolate Challenge is a charity race that supports Kelleigh's Cause, an organization created to raise funds for Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM) and rare disease research. This charity focuses on community involvement. Our goal is to hold a community wide event while raising critical funds for necessary medical research and public education.
All runners will receive a shirt, medal, and post race chocolate!

Join fellow runners on July 25, 2026 for the The 8th Annual Chocolate Challenge. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in Liverpool.
Races Offered
Walking
5K Walk
Walkers will receive a shirt, medal, and post race chocolate! You can walk at your own pace. This event is not timed. Enjoy the wonderful water views and nature along the way. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
Running
5K Run
Runners will receive a shirt, medal, and post race chocolate! This will be a timed event.
10K Run
Runners will receive a shirt, medal, and post race chocolate! This will be a timed event. Plenty of Chocolate at the finish line.
Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Runners will receive a shirt and finisher medal. You can run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. There will be no specific course so you can do this on a sidewalk, a track, a treadmill, or a trail! You do not need to send in your time. You can run the challenge any day in July 2025
Virtual 10K
Runners will receive a shirt and finisher medal. You can run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. There will be no specific course so you can do this on a sidewalk, a track, a treadmill, or a trail! You do not need to send in your time. You can complete the challenge any day in July 2025.
