35th Annual Independence Day 5K Virtual Runner/Walker
We realize there may be many people all over the world who want to take action to support the South Hampton Roads community. Even if your on vacation or out of the area during the live race, we’d like to offer you a virtual option! Virtual runners/ walkers will receive the same race shirt and custom medal shipped to them for a minimum registration of $35! You pick a time on July 4th between 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM to run or walk 3.1 miles (5K). Participants can choose the setting- trail, road, or treadmill. Please take some photos to share on our event page or tag us on Facebook with #5KYMCA. Please register by June 20th if possible! (Makes ordering shirts/medals much easier!) Your race shirt and medal will be shipped after the live event and should be received by the end of July 2019.
35th Annual Independence Day 5K 1/4 Mile Tot Trot
Show us your Red, White, and Blue and start your holiday off with a 5K run or walk! Join us at the Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA for the 35th Annual Independence Day 5K and 1/4-Mile Tot Trot to raise money for a good cause. By participating in this event you are assisting others in your community with Child Care, Swim Lessons, Health and Wellness programs, Youth and Teen activities, Older Adult programs and Summer Camp.
