First Annual City of Meridian Veteran Suicide Awareness Run
About this race
Join us for a 2.2-mile race/walk dedicated to raising awareness for veteran suicide prevention. This meaningful distance represents the 22 veterans lost each day to suicide, reminding us why coming together as a community matters.
Behind many smiles and strong exteriors, veterans are often fighting silent battles, struggles with trauma, transition, and mental health that aren’t always visible. This event is about bringing those struggles into the light, fostering understanding, and showing our veterans they are seen, heard, and supported.
Whether you run, walk, or simply show up in support, your participation helps bring hope, healing, and awareness to those who have served our country.
Join fellow runners on July 11, 2026 for the First Annual City of Meridian Veteran Suicide Awareness Run. It's a fantastic 3.5K featuring a flat and fast course in Meridian.
