About the Event
Walk & Roll Chicago unites the community behind the American Cancer Society's efforts to save lives from cancer. It is a one-of-a-kind event that offers participants of all ages and skill levels a 5K Walk, 5K Timed Run, 10K Skate, or 15K Bike along Chicago's Lakefront Path.
2026 is the 55th anniversary of Walk & Roll Chicago! The date is Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Upper Hutchinson Field in Grant Park, Chicago.

Races Offered
Walking
Adult Walker
For adults ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 5K Walk.
Adult Cancer Survivor Walker
For adult cancer survivors ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 5K Walk. We kindly ask that registrants honor the intention behind this option and select it only if it reflects your experience as someone who has personally faced cancer.
Youth Walker
For youth 17 and under who will participating in the 5K Walk. Do not use this participation type if you would like to register for the Youth 5K Timed Run. There is no charge for youth participating in the Walk, Skate or Bike.
Running
Adult Runner
For adults ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 5K Timed Run.
Adult Cancer Survivor Runner
For adult cancer survivors ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 5K Timed Run. We kindly ask that registrants honor the intention behind this option and select it only if it reflects your experience as someone who has personally faced cancer.
Youth Runner
For youth 17 and under who will be participating in the 5K Timed Run.
Nordic ice skating
Adult Skater
For adults ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 10K Skate.
Adult Cancer Survivor Skater

For adults ages 18 and older who will be participating in the 15K Bike.
