About this race

RACE DAY - MAY 9, 2026 (Mother's Day Weekend)     2026 Theme: 20th Annual Event

The 12 Hours of Mesa Verde is a premier mountain bike event organized by volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of youth in Southwest Colorado.  Relay teams and solo participants compete in this race by completing the most laps from 7 AM until 7 PM. The event is conveniently staged at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds and the epic 16-mile singletrack course uses trails within the renown Phil's World trail system. Register EARLY for this popular, fun, friendly, charity event!

12 Hours of Mesa Verde 2024 has a No Refund Policy*. If the event is cancelled due to, but not limited to, weather, pandemic, natural disaster, government orders, etc. no refunds will be issued. The No Refund Policy also applies to all participant cancellations, regardless of cause. The 12 Hours of Mesa Verde offers participant transfers for the current event only. A participant may transfer their registration to a new participant for the current event. Any exchange of funds is between participants and no refunds or deferments will be issued to the cancelling participant.

Part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Highly competitive participants should participate in the other adult categories. Only one trophy will be awarded to each of the podium teams vs. a trophy for every participant that podiums. The team captain creates and pays for the team. Team members will then need to join the team.
