About the Event
Kick off your Independence Day festivities with a spirited 4-mile run that sets off the fireworks early! The course takes you on a scenic journey along a paved trail in a lollipop-style race, commencing at Colby Lake Park. Traverse north through the picturesque Wilms Lake rollers, conquer a challenging hill around Summit Pointe Park, and make a triumphant return under the tunnel to Colby Lake Park for an energetic finish line reception. Following the run, it's time to head home to join your family for a delightful day of grilling, swimming, and, of course, enjoying the spectacular fireworks display. Start your Fourth of July with a burst of energy and celebrate the day with a memorable run and festive family activities!

This race will run around Colby Lake Park starting and finishing at the start and finish of the 4 on the Fourth. Kids will not be timed and every finisher will receive a wooden finishers medal.
