About the Event
Join us for the 5K Against ALS, a powerful community event dedicated to raising awareness and support for those impacted by ALS. Hosted by Ashes and Embers Foundation, this event brings together runners, walkers, families, and frontline families to make a meaningful difference. Proceeds from the race will benefit ALS of Nevada and provide direct assistance to a family currently facing ALS. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your presence helps honor resilience, support families, and bring hope to those navigating the unimaginable.
All ages are welcome.
There will be food on site.
No pets. No skateboards. No roller skates.
Strollers and Wheelchairs are okay!

This 5K is designed for avid runners looking for a competitive race while supporting an important cause. Participants will receive race bibs and will be timed. Every stride helps raise awareness for ALS and supports the fight against this disease, making this race not only a test of endurance but also a meaningful way to run for something bigger. **First 90 Participants to check-in get a CVH Swag Bag**
5k - Joggers / Walkers (Doing this for fun!)
This 5K is all about coming together for a great cause while enjoying the experience—no timers, no pressure, just community. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all paces are welcome to join in raising awareness for ALS and supporting those affected by it. Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, enjoy the course, move at your own pace, and celebrate crossing the finish line knowing you’re helping make a difference for ALS. **First 90 Participants to check-in get a CVH Swag Bag**
Virtual Race
Want to join in on the fun or fundraise for an incredible cause, but are not local? No problem! This is an opportunity for you to still be a part of this movement. Sign up - fundraise if you would like - and run or walk 3.1 miles where you are! All participation makes an impact!
