Why race for Fragile X syndrome?Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is the leading known cause of inherited intellectual disability and the leading single gene cause of Autism. Fraxsocal’s mission is to promote public awareness and with your help we can accomplish this goal! Also, to provide a forum for families and children with FXS to meet & greet and create a stronger FXS community! We also support research for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for FXS. Treatments for Fragile X are likely to help people affected by autism, Alzheimer’s, and other brain disorders.
Fragile X CommunityA Family Fun Day will proceed after the walk with Family, Friends, Food and Fun!! It's a great time to chat with other families affected by fragile X syndrome (FXS) and it's also a nice opportunity for you to take your kid(s) or adult(s) with FXS or any disability for that matter, judgement free!
