Join us for a no-pressure event celebrating fitness for all ages! 🎉 Pumpkin Attire Is Encouraged! Dress up in your favorite pumpkin-themed outfit.
Parents and guardians can join their Munchkin on the Munchkin Mile at no cost!
Big Prizes & Pumpkin Decorating: Enjoy the beautiful trails in and around Malone Rec Park, win cash prizes and more. Munchkins will enjoy a pumpkin draw string bag with goodies, a finishers medal and have fun with pumpkin decorating! 🎃💰
🎨 FREE face painting for Munchkins from 8am–9:30am!
Scenic Routes: Whether you accompany a munchkin, walk or run the 5K, there is a place for you out on the course! Both courses feature the best views at the Malone Rec Park. The start and finish are both located at the Kelly Pavilion, making for easy race-day logistics and a perfect finish-line to celebrate your accomplishments.

Pumpkin Run 5K
The Pumpkin Run is a 5K (3.1 miles). Open to adults and kids ages 5 and up (kids ages 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult). Finishers receive a medal and are entered in prize drawings for over $2000 in prizes! This is a no-pressure event and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace. Everyone who crosses the 5K finish line will receive a finishers medal and be included in our event-day prize drawings. Please Note: Prize drawings are for 5K participants only. Munchkin Mile
Children must be accompanied to the event by an adult. The Munchkin Mile is open to ages 10 and under and is 1-mile roundtrip through an established walking path at the Malone Rec Park. The path is paved and runs through a largely wooded area (state st. side of park). Volunteers will be along the munchkin route however, parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany their munchkins. Parents/Guardians assume responsibility for unaccompanied runners. Participants will receive a nylon, 17" x 14.5" Pumpkin Drawstring Backpack with stickers. After the run, munchkin participants are invited to decorate a real pumpkin to take home. Finishers receive a medal, a real pumpkin to decorate after the run and a pumpkin-themed drawstring backpack with goodies. View Route on Main Page. No Rain Date, both events happen rain or shine.
