About this race
Fitness Heights Intl and Double Back Productions have partnered to bring you a "Virtual Run through History - 400 Miles from 1619 and the Door of No Return."
Your registration will help bring supplies to those in homeless shelters and on the streets.

Set an individual or team goal as we embark on this journey together. Tag your photos on Social Media with #ARunThruHistory, #RTH400 #FitnessHeightsIntl #BlackHistoryMatters #FitHigh All distances are needed to help us along this History journey together. Register and make your distance count.
Register as an Individual and select your miles, min. 4 miles or 100 miles per month
Register as a team or family and complete 4 miles each. Get as many members to accumulate up to 100 or 400 Miles over 4 months.
Team with the most miles will be recognized and receive a Certificate Award.
All participants submit your daily training miles on the results page to track your total miles.
Checklist of what you get when you register:
- Each virtual registrant will earn the Premiere "400 Historical Medal" plus the Black Run Through History Shirt - 1619 "A Door of No Return"
- Monthly historical Facts are emailed to each registered: Learn about Robert Smalls, Shirley Chisholm, Martin Luther King, etc.
- Travel groups Speak out -why they recommend Ghana, Tanzania, Senegal and more.
- Fitness Heights Intl: @BCross Coach will send you training tips on how to make it through your Journey to help us all get to 400 Miles together.
- A Run through History Athletes Speak - Hear about their journey and experiences that will enlighten you plus they will give tips on their plans to make it through this journey. We will hear from local runners, walkers, hikers, bikers, and swimmers.

Decide if you will register as an Individual or a Team.
If registering a team, identify a captain to help with setting up the Mileage Plan.
Decide how you will track your miles - Track miles via our Run Sign up results page, Strava, Nike, Garmin, etc and please post your progress on your Instagram, Facebook or blog and use the hashtag #RTH400 #JourneyThroughHistory400 #FitHigh
Join our group on the Strava App - where you can upload and track your miles in real-time. Look for Fitness Heights International - Run Through History.
During the month, commit to 4 Miles, 40 Miles or 100 Miles we are here to celebrate you at the Finish Line, we appreciate your effort along this journey.
Get Ready to join this Run Historical movement! Post pictures of your training, post about our history. Post when you run, walk, hike, bike, inside or outside of the house. Any and all activities count: Treadmills, indoor bikes, strength workouts will all count to help you through this journey. Get your teams together: everyone is welcome to exercise, learn history and keep each other accountable as we move through history.
