A Run To Remember 5K Run/Walk
About this race
Join members of your community in an event aimed at inspiring movement while simultaneously raising money to be donated to the Alzheimer's Association! A Run To Remember is welcoming to all participants; walker, joggers, or those looking to set a PR.
When you register before May 20th (at midnight) you will receive the option to choose a complementary race t-shirt or finishers metal! Registrants after May 20th will have the option to purchase these items on the day of the race. Additionally, registration fee's will increase when registering after May 20th.
The race is inspired by my own encounter with Alzheimers's disease and is dedicated to my poppop Roger Flowers who passed in October 2024 after being afflicted with Alzheimer's disease. All those who have been touched by this disease are encouraged to attend or donate as all profits are donated directly to the Alzheimer's Association.
Whether you are walking or running this race is designed for you! The top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers will receive awards. As well as top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female finishers in the following age categories: 15 and under, 16-26, 27-37, 38-48, 49-60, and 60 and older. (Please note, that if you choose to select the 'prefer not to say' when prompted to select your gender you will be ineligible for placement awards.)
