About this race

Let's Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary!

The Rock County Historical Society's America 250 Freedom family-friendly 2 Mile Run/Walk, 5K route, and 10K route is a friendly, community event celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. The event will feature a patriotic and presidential theme with historical displays, music, costumes, and activities throughout the historic campus.

Participants can enjoy:
  • Time and non-timed run/walk options
  • Historic and presidential-themed photo opportunities
  • Colonial/Americana music
  • Food trucks and refreshments
  • Museum and historic site access
  • Family activities and educational experiences
  • Commemorative race shirts and medals (must register before 9/25/26)

The event also serves as a fundraiser supporting the Rock County Historical Society's preservation and educational mission.
