About this race
May is National Foster Care Awareness Month—and what better way to celebrate than by joining us for the 15th Anniversary Rock N Run 4 Kids!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, PA. Choose your challenge: 5-Mile, 5K, or Kids Fun Run (in person) or go virtual with the 5-Mile, 5K, or Mile-A-Day Challenge—complete your race anytime now throughout May!
Special Note: The Kids Fun Run is FREE, but space is limited to the first 125 participants—don’t wait to register!
Proceeds benefit The Salvation Army's Foster Care & Adoption Program, helping us provide loving homes and vital services to children in foster care right here in our community.

Register to run or walk the virtual 5 Mile, 5K, or Kids Fun Run or Mile-A-Day Challenge anytime now throughout the month of May.
Participants who register for the virtual 5 Mile, 5K, or Mile-A-Day Challenge before April 15, 2026, will receive a t-shirt and race certificate. (Choose option to have items shipped to you for an additional $8 if you do not plan to pick up in person).

Kids' Fun Run-Live Event
Get ready for big smiles and big energy! The Kids Fun Run kicks off with a pre-race warm-up led by local mascots, followed by one exciting lap around the Coca-Cola Park warning track. Parents are welcome to accompany little ones on the course. This event is FREE, but space is limited to the first 125 participants—so don’t wait to register!
Mile-A-Day Challenge
Run or walk 1 mile a day on your own schedule or complete a total of 31 miles at your own pace—anytime during the month of May. This flexible challenge is a great way to stay active, build momentum, and make every mile count for children in foster care. By participating, you’ll raise awareness during National Foster Care Awareness Month and help The Salvation Army’s Foster Care & Adoption Program provide safe, loving homes and vital support for local kids who need it most. Every step you take brings hope to a child’s future. 💙 Use the Racejoy app to track your progress or you can submit your results directly through runsignup. We'll show you how. Virtual run can be completed at your choice of date and location. Virtual 8k Run
Take on the challenge of a unique 8k—on your own time, at your own pace, and from any location! Run or walk your 4.97 miles on your favorite trail, track, treadmill, or neighborhood route. Complete your miles anytime during the month of May and celebrate knowing you’ve made a difference. Your participation supports The Salvation Army’s Foster Care & Adoption Program, helping children in foster care find safe, loving homes and the services they deserve. A race bib will be sent to you via the registration email address. Virtual runs can be completed at your choice of date and location. Can’t make it to Coca-Cola Park? Join us from anywhere with the Virtual 5K! Run or walk 3.1 miles on your own schedule, at your favorite trail, park, treadmill, or neighborhood route.
