Aon Mixed Team Relay National Championship

Junior MTR 7-10

• Each team consists of two members in the relevant age group
• Teams can be two boys, two girls, or mixed
• There is also a family category which comprises a team where both members are from the same immediate family
• Each team member does the full distance before handing over to the next team member to do the full distance; handover of the timing chip will be near the run finish/swim start
• Teams have to select their category – for instance, if two boys from the same family compete, they have to select if they are in the “boys category” or the “family category”  

Senior MTR (age 11 and up*)

• Each team consists of two members in the relevant age group
• Teams can be two male, two females; mixed
• There is also a family category which comprises a team where both members are from the same immediate family;
• There will be no separate category for Corporate Team this year – if you are a corporate team, include the company in your team name and the top corporate teams will be determined across all categories.
• A corporate team is a team where both members work in the same company
• Each team member does the full distance before handing over to the next team member to do the full distance; handover of the timing chip will be near the run finish/swim start

Registration/Packet Pick-up

Registration and packet pick up will be from 4.00 to 6.00 pm on Friday 18 September at the office of Aon (Bermuda) Ltd.
Point House, 6 Front Street, Hamilton, HM11.

Included in your packet will be:

A set of race stickers with your number – one for the seat post on your bike, three for your helmet (front, left and right), a set of Tattoos (comprising 4 tattoos of your race number and instructions how to apply them), and the mandatory swim cap.

General

This event is “draft legal cycle” so no specific "Time Trial” bikes allowed (Click Here to see Rules)

• You must have a bike in GOOD WORKING ORDER
• All athletes must be able to swim the relevant distance in deep water and unaided
• You must have a CPSC or other accredited approved bike helmet that fits and clips up
• No outside assistance for competitors permitted
• All competitors must be members of the Bermuda Triathlon Association (BTA)
• Entry Fees include a $10 BTA one day fee. If you are a member of the BTA Club this fee will be Discounted at Checkout
• All competitors must follow triathlon rules outlined on www.bermudatriathlon.com
• No wetsuits permitted
• Full course maps appear below and are available for download
• It is each athlete’s responsibility to know the course for the race she/he is participating in
