About the Event
Founded and produced by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, the Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in America. It allows participants to start Thanksgiving Day off on the right foot by celebrating generosity and wellness with thousands of other runners and walkers committed to investing in their community. All event proceeds are donated to four nonprofit beneficiaries: Healthier Kids Foundation, HomeFirst, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County.
This family-focused event welcomes participants of all fitness levels—elite runners, joggers, and walkers—to enjoy the flat and fast course that flows through downtown San Jose's local neighborhoods and businesses.

The Amazon Kids Fun Run is a great way to motivate your kiddos to get outside and exercise! Spend time in our Kids Fun Zone and then watch your little one complete their run. The Virtual Kids Fun Run is a great way to motivate your kiddos to get outside and exercise! Choose your own time, location, and distance -- whether it be around the block or exploring your neighborhood. Registrations come with a Kids Fun Run t-shirt, a medal, and a bib. Plus we can ship to anywhere in the U.S.! Just make sure to register by November 15 to ensure your packet arrives by race day. Shipping ends on November 19.

The Kids Runs have 3 dash distances for each age group (they are not part of the 5K/10K courses). Distances subject to change due to course conditions.
