ARK's Dawgy Dash 5K Run/Walk
About this race
You don't need a dog to take part in ARK's 2027 Dawgy Dash 5K Run/Walk! Whether you bring your pooch or not, your participation goes for a good cause - helping the needy pets in Hart County. On Saturday, May 22, you can run competitively or stroll with friends at a leisurely pace. It's all about having a great time on a fine spring morning while supporting ARK's important work in the community. If you can't join us for the 5K, you can still order our snazzy race tee to help support ARK in the race site store.
Prices - Adults - $35 and Youths (ages 4 - 14) - $30. Early Bird special - get $10 off registration if you sign up by April 24, midnight. We'll do our best, but we can't guarantee t-shirts for entries after this date.
Group Discount - Get a group together - church family, extended family, work buddies, sports teams, school clubs, social clubs, good friends - and save $5 on registrations with a group of 10 or more. A prize is offered for the largest group, so start recruiting! (Discounts adjusted after your team gets 10 members.)
The funds raised by the race will be used for ARK's work in the community: continued support and expansion of the Hart County's animal shelter, ARK's feline foster/adoption program, Trap-Neuter-Return program for stray cats, spay/neuter/rabies vouchers to reduce the number of unwanted pets, educational outreach to develop the next generation of leaders, and providing information and solutions for pets and pet owners through social media. This year's Dawgy Dash 5K: Step 1. Register to run/walk the 5K, and invite your friends to join! For even more fun, create a group of 10 or more for $5 discount on registrations. Step 2. You can pick up your t-shirt and race info early. Time/place to be announced. Step 3. Sign in on race day, starting at 7:00 AM at Munfordville School. Please keep dogs on a leash if you bring them. Step 4. Post pictures of your run to social media using #dawgydash24.
