Armed Forces Run: 5K, 10K, 15K

Welcome to the Armed Forces Run, featuring a 5K, 10K, and 15K. While the event name says "RUN", walkers are also loved and welcomed. Our mission is to honor, respect, and thank those who support our country and communities. This includes military members (past and current), law enforcement, and first responders. We also support the national non-profit organization, The Folds of Honor, whose mission is to provide scholarships to family members of disabled and fallen members of the military, law enforcement, and first responders. We are very grateful to Grand Haven High School for allowing us to host this event on their property and in the Gene Rothi Buccaneer Stadium. All the distances will start and finish on the track, inside the stadium. This venue provides substantial parking for all the participants, volunteers, and spectators. Bathrooms, NOT port-a-potties, will be accessible to everyone. All of the distances take place on school property and bike paths and do not proceed on any roads. Upon leaving the school property, participants will run/walk on the bike path along Ferris St and proceed directly to scenic Lakeshore Drive and head south on the bike path alongside Lakeshore Drive. Course maps will be added shortly. All the courses are "out-and-back," which will allow access to several aid stations. 

In addition to die-cast finisher medals, participants will receive a short-sleeved "Dri-Fit" tech shirt. I have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Country Dairy, and they are generously providing their fabulous "Dutch" chocolate milk.
