Avenue of the Giants Marathon
About this race
The race is currently sold out and we are accepting registrations for the waitlist only. Please consider our sister race this fall, the Humboldt Redwoods Marathon. It uses the same course as the Avenue of the Giants Marathon and is produced by the same running club.
The Avenue of the Giants is one of the most beautiful races in the world! It runs through old growth redwoods and follows a natural creek in the middle of a state park. Staged on "The Avenue of the Giants" in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located in rural Northern California. Course is on a paved road that winds gently up hill but is mostly a flat, fast destination race. With little to distract you, the tall trees inspire the athlete in each of us to be strong. The course is certified and the marathon is a Boston Qualifying event.

Running
Avenue of the Giants Marathon
Must be able to complete Marathon in 6 hours. Must pass half way point in 3 hours or less in order to complete second half. Runners who do not pass this point in the allotted time will be directed to the finish line and transferred into the half marathon results.
