Badges and Bravery 5K - Civilian Runner
You escaped from jail! You have a 2 min head start to run from law enforcement. Civilian runners will start the race at 9:00am and run a 5K route around Allegan. Law enforcement/first responders will start their race two minutes later. This is a very community friendly event. Civilian runners can choose to wear a touch football belt during the race. If law enforcement/first responders pull your flag, the civilian runner will continue the race. Civilian runners are not required to participate in wearing a touch football belt.
Badges and Bravery Family Fun Walk!
There is a staggered start to prevent runners and walkers from having colliding. This is 1 mile walk around downtown Allegan allowing families to walk in support of preventing child abuse in our communities.
Badges and Bravery 5K - First Responder Runner
Oh no we had a breakout at the jail! They will have a 2 minute head start, it's your job to catch them. This is a very community friendly event. Civilian runners can choose to wear a touch football belt during the race. If law enforcement/first responders pull your flag, the civilian runner will continue the race. Civilian runners are not required to participate in wearing a touch football belt. After pulling a flag from a civilian runner, law enforcement/first responders will do 5 jumping jacks and then proceed with the race.
