Mark your calendars to join runners from all over the south to celebrate Mardi Gras Baton Rouge style! Whether you are running the One Mile Fun Run, 5K, or 10K, the whole family can celebrate Carnival Season with the Baton Rouge General Mardi Gras Mambo. This annual event runs in downtown Baton Rouge and for the first time ever, will start and finish at AZ Young Park near the state capital.

Since 1999, the Mardi Gras Mambo has hosted Baton Rouge’s best 10k race! That tradition continues this year with a race course that features the best of downtown Baton Rouge and the Historic Garden District.
5K
The Mardi Gras Mambo is now offering a 5K race for those of you not quite ready for a 10K, or for those still recovering from your Louisiana Marathon race!
1 Mile Fun Run
The best way to get interested in health is to approach it as a family. Kick off your family’s Mardi Gras Season, Mambo style with the Raising Cane’s 1 Mile Fun Run! Welcome to children, adults, runners and walkers alike.
