Adventure race
Competitive Race
The Competitive Race is open to male, female and coed teams ages 18 and older. Teams from this heat will be competing for the ultimate bragging rights and the coolest prizes. USARA Sanctioned. Teams may consist of 2, 3/4 persons. The race will begin at 8 a.m. and teams be released every 5 minutes. For experienced racers as well as beginners. Timed event with overall finish time and included in results Awards given to top TEAM in each division (2 person male, 2 person female, 3/4 person male, 3/4 person female, 2 person coed, 3/4 person coed). Each team member, must have a mountain bike with gears to participate in this category and be experienced at riding their bike on trails. All team members must stay together at all times during the race.
Family Race
Waves Begin at 9:00 a.m. For athletes who just want to have a great time and enjoy the experience but are not so worried about overall finish time or place at the race. Shorter course than competitive race. Must have one parent/guardian on the team. Teams must have a minimum of 2 people. MAX of 6. Not timed Athletes are entered into a drawing for awesome prizes Pre-registered teams are guaranteed a race tee Bikes are NOT required to participate in this division. You may run/walk/hike instead of biking. Wave starts with 3-5 teams starting at the same time. All team members must stay together at all times during the race.
