About this race

Join us for one of the best runs of the summer in the beautiful NORTHWOODS. The Bear Cupboard Run is set for Saturday, June 27th at Torpy Park. It will feature our three events; a half marathon, a 5k run/walk and the kids Cubbie run. Running is mostly on the famed Bearskin Trail providing a scenic and enjoyable run in the woods.   Race Date: June 27, 2026 Location: Torpy Park in downtown Minocqua, Wisconsin  

Races: 1/2 Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, 1K Cubby Run

All proceeds benefit the Lakeland Pantry.

Half Marathon

This 1/2 Marathon starts and finishes at Torphy Park. It starts heading around beautiful Lake Minocqua to old 70 West to Dr. Pink. The course joins the Bearskin trail at the end of Dr. Pink and heads South to just past Oneida Street where you will turn around and head back to Torpy park via the Bearskin Trail.

The 5k starts and finishes at Torpy Park. The 5k is an out and back on the beautiful Bearskin Trail.

The Cubbies start and finish at Torpy Park. They will run over the first trestle on the Bearskin Trail and will turn around before they get to the Dr. Pink intersection.
