Bear's Den Fitness Run & Reps Challenge
About this race
A test of endurance, strength, and strategy. Complete 3 rounds of running and bench press while racing the clock and earning time deductions through reps.
Each round will consist of a 1-Mile run followed by a set of Max Unbroken Bench Press reps. Each rep completed will subtract 10 seconds from your total time. The time starts with the first run and ends with the last rep of the third round.
There will be an RX division and a Scaled division. The Bench Press weight is based on the divisions. There will also be a 55+ division.
RX: Men = 80% of body weight / Women = 60% of body weight / 55+ = M 70% and W 50%
Scaled: Men = 60% of body weight / Women = 40% of body weight / 55+ = M 50% and W 30%
Body weight is measured with shoes on! The percentage is then taken from that number and then rounded down to the nearest 5lbs. Example: If I weigh in at 172lb for the RX Men division, then 80% is taken from 172lb = 137.6lb, which is rounded down to 135lb.
Minimum weight for the Bench Press for Men is 45lb and Women is 35lb.
The Bear's Den Fitness Run & Reps Challenge brings an exciting Men's RX, Women's RX, Men's RX 55+, Women's RX 55+, Men's Scaled, Women's Scaled, Men's Scaled 55+, Women's Scaled 55+ to Boyertown, Pennsylvania on July 25, 2026. Don't miss this beautiful event!
