If you thought the drive was scenic....
The 56th Annual Beartooth Run is back on top as the highest 5k/10k road race in the US (sorry all you Half-ers, Pikes Peak ascent goes higher)! Enjoy a breathtaking drive up the Beartooth Pass before the race course takes your breath away! Each race starts at 10,500 and tops out at 11,00ft. The only thing that will make you forget you're running uphill at high elevation are the views of wild flowers, high mountain plateaus, glaciers, and maybe mountain goat or two!
All ages and abilities are welcome. $15 kid registration. Walkers are welcome on the 5k course. While dogs are strollers aren't welcome on the course, we have great spots at the start/finish for spectating!
Join fellow runners on July 11, 2026 for the Beartooth Run. It's a fantastic 10K, 5K, Half-Marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Cody.

There is a 4 hour cut off time on the Half Marathon. If you are strictly a Walker, please register for the 5k or 10k.
