About this race
Join us on Saturday August 15 for Beer City Half™ SLAM, our final race of the Summer. August is National Clear the Shelters Month and we're working with Pets in Need to support animal rescue and adoption. This means we will have the annual running of the Top Dog Dash with all the proceeds doing to this great cause. The air is thick with excitement!
Join fellow runners on August 16, 2025 for the Beer City Half™ SLAM. It's a fantastic Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Fremont.

The last half in the Beer City Slam! This course is on paved bike path and trail along the SF Bay Trail and Alameda Creek. Unlimited beer tasting included.
10k
A 10k on paved bike path and trail along the SF Bay Trail and Alameda Creek. Unlimited beer tasting included.
5k
A 5k around Quarry Lakes, on paved bike path and trail. Unlimited beer tasting included.
Beat the Beast Beer Mile
How tough are you? Beast the Beast challenges you to drink 4 x 12oz beers, 1 each quarter mile -- but stay ahead of the Beer City Beast. Get caught by the Beast or toss your cookies and you're OUT.
The Beer Stroll
A walk, run, stroll -- do what you will around Quarry Lakes. You will start with a taste of beer and end with one too!
Top Dog Dash
A walk, run, stroll around Quarry Lakes with your pup. Everyone gets a cape! You will start with a taste of beer and end with one too. Proceeds benefit Pets in Need.
