About this race

Support your community one step at a time at BeHeard Movement's 5K Dignity Dash & Thanksgiving Drive. This family-friendly, timed 5K brings our community together to help provide essential resources for neighbors experiencing homelessness across Oklahoma. Your registration helps make an impact, and every donation collected during the Thanksgiving Drive brings comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM–11:00 AM, we'll gather at Lions Playground at Lake Hefner for our 5K Dignity Dash & Thanksgiving Drive- a family-friendly, untimed event where every step supports our mission of serving neighbors experiencing homelessness.

At BeHeard Movement, we believe everyone deserves access to basic necessities and compassionate support. Through our mobile drop-in center, we bring free showers, laundry services, clothing, hygiene supplies, resources, and case management directly to individuals experiencing homelessness across Oklahoma. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together and help ensure those essential resources remain available to the neighbors in need.

Your $50 Registration Includes:

  • Entry into the timed 5K
  • A commemorative BeHeard finisher medal
  • Cooling stations along the course
  • The opportunity to directly support BeHeard Movement's outreach efforts

Thanksgiving Drive
As part of the event, we'll be collecting items that will be distributed during our outreach services, including:

  • Hygiene products
  • Bottled water
  • New underwear and socks
  • Jackets and hoodies
  • Blankets
  • Sweatshirts and sweatpants
  • Individually packaged, non-perishable snacks (chips, crackers, granola bars, variety snack packs, and similar items)

These donations help us meet immediate needs while reminding our guests that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

Whether you're walking your first 5K, running with friends, or bringing your family to support the cause, your participation creates a lasting impact. Together, we can provide warmth, hope, and essential resources to our neighbors while building a stronger, more compassionate community.

Join us this Thanksgiving season as we move for more than miles—we move for people.
