Virtual Step Challenge for First Responders
Can't join us in person? Addi's First Reponder family (including firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), paramedics, and police officers) should register in this challenge! Count and log your all the steps you run, walk or roll over the 10 days of this event. We'll convert to kilometers and the person with the most kilometers wins! You chose your own step goal, the time, place, distance, frequency and terrain! We encourage you to make it fun and competitive by challenging your friends, family, members and other departments to join and sharing photos and updates to this website and your social media! Make it fun and competitive! First Responders will be scored together and you don't need to stop at 5k. Male, Female and non-binary winners who log the most kilometers between 6/1/2023 and 6/10/2023 will receive medals, a copy of Addi's Engine book and a gift from our Title Sponsor. Electronic milestone badges, Ribbons and Electronic Finishers Certificates will be awarded to all those who log at least 1 activity.

We encourage you to make it fun and competitive by challenging your friends and Family to join! 1.2k Run (In Person)
The 1.2k course is completely on asphalt, to enable safe and flat surface for those who are RUNNING but want a short or evenly graded course. We encourage you to make it fun and competitive by challenging your friends, family and other members and departments to join! Male, Female and non-binary winners in this event will receive medals, a copy of Addi's Engine book and a gift from our Title Sponsor. Ribbons and Electronic Finishers Certificates will be awarded to all who complete this race.
1.2k Walk or Roll (In Person)
Walking or rolling? Please register for this event! The 1.2k course is completely on asphalt, to enable safe and flat surface for those who are are rolling or have difficulty with distances and grade changes. Male, Female and non-binary winners in this event will receive medals, a copy of Addi's Engine book and a gift from our Title Sponsor. Ribbons and Electronic Finishers Certificates will be awarded to all who complete this race.
Walking
5k Walk (In Person)
The 5K walk is a cross country style course, beginning on asphalt and switching to trail/grass early in the walk, with an accomodation for flatter ground where the runners switch off to a wooded step hill. We encourage you to make it fun and competitive by challenging your friends and Family to join! Male, Female and non-binary winners in this event will receive medals, a copy of Addi's Engine book and a gift from our Title Sponsor. Ribbons and Electronic Finishers Certificates will be awarded to all who complete the course.
