About this race
48th Annual Memorial Day Bigfoot Challenge 5K/8K 8:30Am Start. Come to little town of Dansville and Run with Bigfoot! There is a Parade following the race at 12PM. All entries receive a T-shirt and a Bigfoot Finishing Medal. New 250th year design is here! Sign up early to be guaranteed a shirt. You will not want to miss out!
Entry Fee: $27 until 3/16, $29 until 4/14, $31 until 5/14. Day of Registration available for $49by cash, check or online sign up. Register early for the discounted fee and to guarantee a shirt. Little Foot race 12 and under: Entry fee $15 Little Foot, $20 Day of race. Starts at 8:10 am on the track, Includes a cool medal and a T-shirt. Run one lap or two, your choice. Bigfoot (Sasquatch) will be running one lap with younger kids, see if you can beat him!
Results: Your accurate chip time on the 5K /8K only and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Age Group Awards: 5K & 8k Bigfoot Trophies to Top 3 in each age group: 12 & under, 13-14 15-16, 17-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Overall Awards for both 5K & 8K LARGE BIGFOOT TROPHIES Male and Female: Overall, Master (Over 40), Grand Master (Over 50), Senior Master (Over 60).
Awards: Self Serve awards, but will will announce our overall winners in both races.
Packet Pick Up: Sunday night 6:30-7pm at the High School track, Race Day starting at 7:00 am at the Dansville High School Track, $39 for race day registration.

Whether you walk or run the 5k, you will receive a cool New Designed T-shirt, and based on your time you will receive an age group award for the top 3 in each age group. All participants receive a finishing award (treat) TBA, it will be a cool surprise for everyone! Music, Refreshments for ALL! Be sure to check out our Halloween run Oct 29th 2023! 12 & under 5k Run +Little foot option
Receive one newly designed for 2023 Bigfoot Tshirt and participate in both Foot races. If you would prefer a little Foot shirt at check in, you may exchange it at that time.
Bigfoot Challenge 8K Run only
Were bringing back the 8K! Start and finish in the same as the 5k, but the turn around is on Clark Rd vs Dakin Rd. Map will be loaded soon. Awards for overall Male/Female plus first in each 10 year age group only,. Once this race grows we will extend awards to match the 5k. Cool new Tshirt with entry. Thanks for your support
Bigfoot Challenge 5k Run/Walk Virtual
The Bigfoot Challenge 5k Run/Walk is an opportunity to participate in the event from any location around in the world. Register, then run/walk at your own pace from any location, and your newly designed 2023 cool Bigfoot Challenge T-shirt, bib number, and medal will be shipped directly to you within 2 weeks of the event. You will need to submit your time prior to race day to see your time listed in the online results.
