Description
This year's Birchwood School of Hawken BIRCHWOOD 5k RUN/1-MILE WALK and SEEDLINGS & SPROUTS SHUFFLE is a costume run. Come in your favorite costume and have a great time. For safety, please do not wear a mask during the race. Costumes must be school-appropriate.
The event is open to all ages and abilities.

Race Day Timeline:
Race day registration - 8:00 AM
400 Meter Seedlings & Sprouts Kids Run - 8:45 AM
5k Run/1-mile Walk - 9:00 AM These are simultaneous events - registrant should choose whichever event they would like while signing up ahead of race day. Please do not switch on race day.

Race awards - Top Male and Female Overall and awards for male and female age groups 9 & under, 10 - 14, 15 - 18, 19 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 & over

All ages and abilities are welcome!
1-Mile Walk
For anyone not quite ready for a 5k run but still want to participate!
Seedlings & Sprouts 1/4-mile Shuffle (5 and under)
1/4 mile "run" for preschool age students (5 and under). Parents and siblings are welcome to join and cheer the little ones on their run! Seedlings and Sprouts get an automatic registration for the 5k/1-mile walk. Please do not register your child for multiple events.
