About this race

Experience a Race Like No Other.  Old-world practices. Lush countryside. Hard-working people.  All these things and more make BIH Half a special experience.  But some things can’t be described – like the sense of community that follows well after you cross the finish line.

Online registration ends on August 27, 2025.  There will be in person registration race weekend starting at 11:00am on Friday, September 5th.

Join fellow runners on September 11, 2026 for the Bird-in-Hand Half Marathon, 5K, and Kid's Fun Run. It's a fantastic 26.1K, 5K, Half-Marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Bird In Hand.

6 water and sports drink stations are located along the course. Additionally, ice buckets and water sprinklers can be found throughout the course during very warm weather. Minor areas of both the half marathon and 5k courses are unpaved and may be muddy or uneven during heavy rainfall.
