5 Mile Trail Run

Anyone can race on a weekend. The toughest do it on a weekday. Relax and rewind after a day of work, or a day of enjoying the summer. How about a nice trail run on a gorgeous (hopefully) summer evening? Sounds good? Then join us at Bowdoin Park for the Bowdoin Buswhack. 5-ish miles of hills and dales, rocks and roots, grass and dirt touring all over the expanse of Bowdoin Park. Race Hub: Pavilion 1 Start/Finish on soccer field at bottom of park. Reusable totebag given to each entrant as well as free pair of socks from Feetures! Awards to the Overall Lady & Gent, then top three gal and guy in the following age groups: 14 & under 15 - 19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60 & over Prizes are delicious cupcakes from Sweetbakes Cafe in nearby Poughkeepsie, with the Overall Champs also getting a nesting doll from the legendary pink house on 9D! Some proceeds and all donations will go to the Keep It Moving organization, helping young people to focus their energy in positive ways as the grow into the future of our world. We will also have a collection box at the Race Hub Pavilion for non-perishable foods and dry goods to be donated to our local food pantry at the Church of St. Mary in Wappingers Falls.
