17th Annual Brooklet 5k Peanut Run
Take advantage of the early bird special on this site. Through July 5th, prices per individual runner will be on $17. After that the price goes to $20.and will run until August 4th. After August 4th you will not be guaranteed a T-Shirt and prices will go to $25. Registration on this site will be cut off at 12:01P.M. on August 18th. Race day registration fee will be $30. and no shirt. What: 17th Annual 5K Peanut Run /Walk Benefiting Southeast Bulloch High Cross Country & Track Teams When: August 19th, 2017 Packet pickup 6:00a.m. til 6:50a.m. Race day registration fee $30. 5K Run:7:00a.m./Awards Ceremony 8:10-8:25a.m. Last chance registration and race packet pickup will be available on Fri. Aug.18th between 4:00p.m. & 7:00p.m. in front of the Brooklet Elementary School This years’ race will be limited to 500 runners. Only pre-registered runners whose race applications or on line entries are received by August 4th will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Where: Brooklet Elementary School 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA 30415 About the Run & Course: The Brooklet Peanut 5k run takes place on the same day as the Brooklet Peanut Festival. The run ambles through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. In years past the course has been certified, however the certification expired in 2014. Race organizers are attempting to re-certify the course however due to very few people available we cannot guarantee a certification by race date. Based on this a course change also may take place this year. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycler. Due to the August heat the run will begin promptly at 7:00A.M. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race Bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number. This is a great run for the entire family at a great value. – Teams welcome!!!
