5K Run and Fitness Walk
The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again.
One Mile Mini Breeze
The One-Mile Mini Breeze is geared to all ages and is a shorter alternative to the 5K Run & Walk. The course is relatively flat and begins and ends in Brookline Memorial Park.
Walking
One Mile Dog Walk
To participate in the One-Mile Dog Walk, register yourself using this category. Dogs are considered registered along with a participating adult, and must be leashed. The Dog Walk will start a few minutes after the runners begin the Mini-Breeze. There can be no interaction between the Mini-Breeze runners and the Dog Walk participants. All registered dogs will receive a commemorative Brookline Breeze bandana.
