Buffalo Graniteman Triathlon
About this race
Buffalo Graniteman Triathlon is a central Minnesota favorite. Held in early June, it offers both sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Beginning with a swim in Buffalo Lake, the course passes through downtown and follows winding country roads. Working in cooperation with local businesses and giving back to the community, the event welcomes participants from all over to visit and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Sprint Individual
A fast sprint triathlon with a 0.25 mile Swim, a 12.25 mile Bike, and a 3.1 mile Run.
Sprint 2-Person
Complete the sprint-distance triathlon as a 2-person relay team, with one team member completing one leg of the triathlon and the other completing two legs. Note, the event price is per person.
Sprint 3-Person
Complete the sprint-distance triathlon as a 3-person relay team, with each team member completing one leg of the triathlon. Note, the event price is per person.
Olympic Individual
A classic olympic triathlon with a 0.9 mile Swim, 24.5 mile Bike, and 6.2 mile Run.
Olympic 2-Person
Complete the olympic-distance triathlon as a 2-person relay team, with one team member completing one leg of the triathlon and the other completing two legs. Note, the event price is per person.
Olympic 3-Person
Complete the olympic-distance triathlon as a 3-person relay team, with each team member completing one leg of the triathlon. Note, the event price is per person.
