Byesville Patriot 5K

Join us on Sunday, August 23rd for the Byesville Patriot 5K Run/Walk.  The event is part of the Annual Johanthan Bye Days Festival and will honor Americas 250th birthday. There is something for everyone throughout the entire weekend – food vendors, mechanical rides and games, parade, downtown businesses open extended hours. All proceeds raised at the event will benefit the Village of Byesville Parks Department. 

When/Where: 
Sunday, August 23rd  at 9:00AM – Downtown Byesville, OH 

Early Packet Pick-up: 
Packet pick up will be race day starting at 7:30 am. 

Race Course: 
5k Run/Walk will begin at the Byesville Fire Department on Seneca Avenue, through Downtown Byesville, past the SEOCBI (old Byesville Elementary School, through the Byesville Village Park, through the residential area of N & S 6th streets, making a loop past the Veterans Memorial in Greenwood Cemetery, through the Euclid Avenue residential area, finishing on S. 2nd Street at Patriot Park. 

Awards:
5k Run:  Awards will be issued to top three overall female and male finishers in both divisions.  Awards will also be given to the top three female/male finishers for the race in the following age categories: Under 14, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60+ 
5k Walk: Award will only be issued to the top three overall female and male finisher. Age group awards will not be awarded for this division. 

Race Results: 
Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site on the Results Kiosks and at the race website. 

Race Packets and Finish Line Perks: 
Your race packet will include custom t-shirt with official race logo, memorial run bib, and other sponsor items to be determined. Water and refreshments will be available at the finish line. All participants registered by August 14 are guaranteed t-shirt. Extra t-shirts will be on first come first served basis 

Entry Fees (non-refundable): 
5k Run / Walk  - $30  Entry fee on race day - $35.

Refund Policy:
 If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race for Any reason including Mother Nature, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
